Would you’d like to be a little more persuasive? Yes? Well Robert Cialdini’s fabulous book ‘Influence: The science of persuasion’ is worth a read. Not got time? Well grab a cuppa and spend 11 minutes watching the highlights in this little animation.
Ever find that reality gets in the way of your good intentions?! Me too. That’s why I liked these 20 tips for customer service. While they’re not exactly draw-dropping they’re a great reminder.
How do you keep track of your idea? I’m a huge fan of Evernote but like the idea of Richard Branson’s little black book. This article’s got some great productivity tips from the man himself plus if you read right to the end there’s a feel-good gem in there for those of us who work from home.
If you’re thinking about getting a new or revamped website then this is a must. Ten questions to ask your would-be webmaster. Number 3 is a goodie “Ask them what their favourite website is, and why”. And If you don’t need this now how about keeping it for when you do.
Have you notice that ‘standing desks’ are getting pretty popular? This article explains why. I’ve been giving it a go, albeit at my kitchen bench rather than an actual desk, and I work better standing up! Fancy giving it a go?!
Till next week
