How we do it

It’s quite simple really.......

we spend pretty much all our time working with businesses (both Kitchen Table Tycoons and larger businesses), listening to the stories people tell us about their businesses (good and bad) and reading lots and lots of stuff on business. We then take the best bits out of this information and turn it into recipes and tools for you.

In a nut shell, we do all the information-finding so that you don’t have to.

There is also some stuff that we don’t do........

Don’t expect to find stuff here about things like tax and business structures.

The Business Bakery is about practical help for boosting your business – like how to set your prices or when to hire some help – rather than admin info (tax etc) that depends on where your business is located (US, UK, Australia) and is found in plentiful supply on the internet.....or in your accountant’s head.

This website is designed for women who haven’t got the time ..........

to wade through pages and pages of detailed advice, who know they need the nitty gritty business stuff but would rather be out in the market winning customers, who need help to get the best out of their business rather than just how to structure it, and who know they don’t need to know everything about business but do need to be on top of the essentials.

One of our important philosophies

We choose not to accept advertising as we want to be free to recommend products and services to you that we really believe in. Any revenue that we generate from links to websites such as Amazon (called ‘affiliate links’) we pass on to the charities that we choose to support.
